Caregiver of the Month: Victoria

We are so excited to announce that Victoria C is our caregiver of the month.  Victoria was selected to be the Caregiver of the Month for April 2022 at Family First Home Companions in Islandia, NY.  Victoria’s dedication to her clients, perfect attendance record, willingness to help by substituting on open shifts, and excellent care services earned her this award and recognition.

Victoria has been a caregiver with Family First Home Companions since the Fall of 2021 and came to Family First with a background as a nurse in her home country.  She also has had several years of experience in the home care field.   Victoria brings a wealth of knowledge and experience including helping older adults living with dementia, fall prevention, help with doctor appointments, and most notably her ability to bond and develop long lasting relationships with her clients.  Victoria has received multiple compliments to our office from her clients who have stated that she is kind, compassionate, and very knowledgeable when it comes to caring for the elderly.

Victoria has been an excellent member of the team at Family First.   She has made herself available on several occasions to help fill-in when other caregivers were out and is very flexible with her schedule.  She is someone who can be relied upon and is very versatile in her skills.
