COVID-19 Virtual Training for Family First Employees & Families
Family First successfully completed its very first virtual training series for its employees this past week. Topics included the coronavirus, myths and facts about the virus, how stay healthy, best ways to disinfect, and how to provide client care while social distancing.
As Long Island continues to follow the New York Pause Guidelines, Family First decided to take all training efforts to a virtual platform. While this is not the conventional way of offering educational opportunities, the turnout was a success. Director of Operations, Alyssa Cottone, stated, “It is motivating to see our staff shift gears and be open to virtual learning. This type of resilience and flexibility speaks to our team’s integrity. Working the front lines, staying informed, and remaining dedicated to those in need is a true calling and honor. We cannot thank our staff enough”.
