Family First Home Companions Celebrates National Family Caregiver Month

Family First Home Companions is partnering with the Long Island Family Caregiver Coalition and Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, NY on November 14th to offer a family caregiver 
event in honor of National Family Caregiver Month in November. This event, titled Voices of the Family Caregiver, will feature workshops on long term care planning and self-care and a vendor resource fair. Family caregivers will also be able to bring their loved ones to the event to be cared for by professional caregivers onsite provided by Family First Home Companion. The onsite professional caregivers will conduct games and activities in an activities room for the attendees’ loved ones while attendees are at the event’s workshops. The event starts at 10 AM on November 14th in Peconic Bay Medical Center’s lobby.
